experience Spanish village life in Andalucia

Have a relaxing holiday in the mountains of Andalucia

Casa Acuncada means “Wedge Shaped House” due to the quirky nature of the shape of the house, being built on a bend. It is located in Estacion de Benaojan which a small, typically Spanish working village in a mountainous region of Andalucia It is a short drive to the famous gorge and bridge in Ronda.

The property is on a gated development which is mainly Spanish residential. The house was started in 2005 and was completed in March 2007.

The accommodation is spread over three floors. On street level  is a fully fitted kitchen and lounge diner with a small terrace to the rear and  garden to the front. The top floor has two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with a balcony to the front with views to the mountains. The lower floor has a large twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The property is fully tiled throughout and has a marble stair case. The property also benefits from a garage which is accessed from the road at the rear. Access to this road is via a electric remote controlled security gate.

The village is ideally suited to visit Andalucía - Seville, Cordoba, Jerez, Cadiz, Granada, Gibraltar, Costa del Sol..... most within a one to two hours drive. For walkers and bird watchers the surrounding countryside is on your doorstep - the views are spectacular. Guided bird tours and walking tours can be arranged with local English speaking guides. Ronda will never fail to impress with its magnificent bridge and gorge. It can get busy in the summer, but thanks to plenty of underground car parks the roads are fairly clear. For those not wanting to drive, the train goes to Ronda from the village and is a good way to visit the town, especially if you want to visit one of the many tapas bars.

The village is small but has five places where you can eat, drink and watch the world and his goat pass by. From a beautiful restaurant located next to the river, to a converted train shed with open fire cooked steaks. plus three other bars in between. They are all very different is style and character however they are all often full of local villagers catching up with each other.

why not relax and enjoy the views...
